The Full Story

I have worked in personal development for many years now, helping people to reach their goals and improve their lives across many London boroughs, working closely with local community. It has been a very rewarding experience and I have learned much along the way, I still love this community work and still deliver my training programme more2mind in schools and children's centres and other community groups.

In 2013 I gave birth to my daughter using hypnobirthing techniques, I was so surprised by how powerful the technique's were and how simply they worked, I decided to train as a HypnoBirthing Teacher. I trained with Katherine Graves of KG Hypnobirthing a well known leader in her field and I have enjoyed many years teaching expectant couples these techniques, and continue to deliver these classes at Mighty Fine Mama and motherbirth.

As I continued to work with pregnant people I found there was a gap in my skill set where I felt I was unable to support post birth, in the area of birth trauma. Unfortunately many people experience a traumatic birth and sometimes do not even realise it, but it shows up in unexpected ways like obsessive behaviours, anxiety, panic attacks, intrusive thoughts etc. I went on to study Birth Trauma Recovery with hypnotherapist Alexandra Heath of the Perinatal mental Health school, a pioneer in her field changing the outcomes for many birthing people. I explicitly learned the Rewind technique, a tool often used in hypnotherapy and it was here that I became interested in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy to help people with a range of problems that they were experiencing unrelated to pregnancy / birth and postpartum related which often cropped up during these sessions.

I went on to study Solution Focused Hypnotherapy where I trained with Mathew Cahill at the Clifton Practice, a training considered the gold standard in the industry. I am a registered therapist with the National Board For Hypnothepy (NBFH), National Board for Modern Psychotherapy (NBFMP), the national council of hypnotherapy (NCH), The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapist (AfSFH) and the clinical Outcomes Research Programme (CORP) and have continued to steadily develop my skills and grow my practice.
